Texas Materials, formerly known as Wheeler, offers paving services at competitive rates, whether the job is big or small. We fill potholes, power-wash and seal-coat existing or new asphalt, install signs, wheel-stops, striping and other pavement markings, and pave—or re-pave—streets, parking lots, or driveways.

How can Texas Materials serve you?

  • NEW PAVING
    OR RE PAVING

  • FILL AND REPAIR

  • POWER WASH
    AND SEAL COAT

Your paving needs may include paint/markings, drainage, and adjustments in thickness to accommodate heavier vehicles or volume in specific areas. Texas Materials can help. We make adjustments according to all these factors, and are able to help guide you in your choice of materials. We use three different types of dense graded asphalt (DGA) for different types of paving. We also understand that the type of DGA that will work best for you depends on the expected type, volume, and speed of traffic. Our experts are available to guide you in choosing the best materials for the job.

Let a professional estimator help you determine which type of fill best suits your needs and get you on your way to a smooth ride.

DENSE GRADED ASPHALT TYPES AND USES

Type B: This mix is heavy-duty, made with larger rock, and used for road base, and for filling large potholes.

Type C: This mix uses smaller rock than type B, and is used for surfacing on higher-volume roads, like highways.

Type D: This mix is made with smaller rock and works best for smaller streets, driveways, and parking lots.

FOR BEAUTIFICATION AND PROTECTION

Nothing is immune from the effects of weather and use, and that includes paved lots and roadways. Faded pavement markings can lead to confusion and danger for drivers and pedestrians. Where water collects in divots and dips, pavement erodes and paint fades. We make your roads and parking lots look clean and attractive and user-friendly with a professional-grade power-wash, and protect surfaces from future degradation with our seal-coat. To spruce up your space, contact Texas Materials today.
