Big News for One of Oldcastle’s Best

Here at Oldcastle Materials, we pride ourselves on the best service. How do we get that? By hiring the best people. Recently, our president of Oldcastle Materials Gulf Coast, Kal Kincaid was re-appointed to the Lower Neches Valley Authority Board of Directors. Governor Greg Abbott appointed Kal, Clint Mitchell, and Bill Voigtman to be on the Board until terms expire in July 2023. The Lower Neches Valley Authority has a duty to “conserve, control, and utilize the waters of the Neches River and its tributaries.” This also means that the board is in charge of economic development, municipal uses, hydroelectric power, and other exciting projects along the Neches River.

How Does He Do It?

Kal is a longtime resident of Beaumont, Texas and a valued part of Oldcastle Materials Gulf Coast. He is already a board member and transportation chairman for the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, a board member of Habitat for Humanity, chairman of Lamar University’s Construction Management Advisory Board, and a member of the Rotary Club of Beaumont. Kal does it all and we can see why Governor Abbott appointed him for a second time.

We are so proud of Kal Kincaid because he demonstrates the value of Oldcastle Materials employees. His dedication to giving back to his community as well as being on the front lines for ecological conservation and prosperity is inspiring. We’re fortunate to have Kal leading Gulf Coast, our branch in Southeast Texas. We look forward to seeing all the great things Kal is going to do during his second tenure.
